A seldom seen visor cap for the Feuerschutzbeamte der Luftwaffe. The crown is dark blue and the band is black with the entire cap piped in crimson. The crown has a 2nd pattern aluminum Luftwaffe eagle, and the band has an aluminum 1-piece winged wreath with cockade. Patent leather 3-part chinstrap with oval black lacquered buckles terminates with black lacquer buttons on each side. The outside of the visor is black, and the inside is tan. Tan leather sweatband. The liner is cotton in a rusty beige color, and the crown liner is orange coated cotton. There is a diamond shaped sweat shield with a rounded end covering a silver stamped label that reads “CARL HALFAR UNIFORM-MUTZENFABRIK BERLIN N.20 Prinzenalle e 74 = 55 = Lieferjahr 1940”. CONDITION: hat generally shows light wear and is free of moth damage. The chinstrap shows a little dimpling from heat. The sweatband is a bit stained and has one small separation.
