War trophy flag captured by Royal Canadian 1st Army Division with KIA list, a drawing of Hitler with the phrase "Die Germany" and more. Some of the phrases written on the flag consist of "These SS fellows are tough buggers, but we were better" Holland Jan. 45", "I got the bastard who shot Gordie!", and " Krauts quit today 7 May 1945 its over-over here!" On the hoist a timeline is written of the division's location throughout the war-starting with Canada to London to Sicily to Holland and finally Berlin. Measures 9 inches tall by 14 inches wide. Very good condition, does not fluoresce.

BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number. All registration cards contain the full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. PAYMENT

If an invoice remains unpaid for longer than this time, the item(s) will be considered forfeited and ownership of property will revert back to Affiliated Auctions.
