Mk II and Mk IIA1
More commonly known as the Pineapple, the Mk II series (also written Mk 2) was the
most commonly used US fragmentation grenade of the Second World War.
The Mk II had a grooved exterior originally intended to aid fragmentation of the
grenade. However, later studies showed that this design has no effect on fragmentation
though it does provide a non-slip surface that improves grip.
The filling was either EC blank fire powder (approx. 0.75 oz or 21 g smokeless small
arms powder) or flaked TNT (approx. 2 oz or 57 g).
TNT became the common filler from 1942 onwards.[
The FUSE M10/A1/A2/A3 for the Mk II Series was a mouse trap type igniting fuze;
ignition ignites filler type..
An original like this is hard to find as there are many repros out there.

When shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. We ship mainly at cost via Canada Post. We aim to have ALL items out the door within 15 business days after auction close.
Please note that due to restrictions we will ship all Ammunition by courier Canada wide - No ammo can be shipped outside of Canada.. WE SHIP AMMO ONLY VIA UPS OR PUROLATOR.... We cannot ship ammunition to a PO BOX - Please note that if we cannot ship to your address the item is forfeited and NO REFUND will be given..
We are NOT responsible for damage during shipping. We don't guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.
Items over $200 will be insured and a signature 18+ is required (unless under $200 or going by letter mail).

If shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. A $40.00 late payer fee may be added to any invoice that can't be processed at the conclusion of the sale. Please ensure that you have provided us with the correct number and expiry date. Recurring problem payers will be banned from future sales. Bidders are responsible for full payment of all their purchases at the drop of the hammer. Our Consignors are paid based on the hammer price. We will attempt to charge your credit card partial amounts until the amount is paid in full. Any purchase which has not been fully paid will be resold at the next available opportunity. Our normal commission charge (14%) will apply on re-sale. Any balance remaining unpaid after the resale will be referred to our collection agency, and or small claims court.

KOS Auctions will not return or refund money if an item is not exactly in the same condition as listed in the online listing. All ratings in the online listing are subjective and are of visual opinion, no mechanical inspection is undertaken by KOS unless stated. Any concern on a listing must be addressed via email before the closing of the auction.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver will be sold at the next opportunity, regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
