Items come from an estate with a long military history. Extensive research has been done on the featured item. A WWII historical timeline Bracelet. Other items include German history of WWI, several items from Hitler's reign, including books, a plaque, as well as many items from 1954-1964 when the last of the family served in Germany. Great selection, don't miss out on some very rare and hard to find items.
This item has a two piece pre WWII Reichs Kokade (circular badge or patch usually worn by military or political powers to dresses up the uniform caps) on it. The Kokade is approximately 1.25” across the top ring is gold colored on black with a red felt center and brass fasteners. The over all holder measurers 6" long x .25" at the point x 3" at the hair end. The holder that the Kokade is a attached to is green felt. The holder was designed to put boars hair/feathers in after the kill and then displayed proudly on the hunters cap as a trophy. The Kokade holds everything together then attaches to the cap with the brass fasteners. We have had several militaria people look at the piece and they all agree that it is boars hair pre WWII & was worn on the cap/hat as a trophy of the accomplished kill. A couple of them say it is WWI because of the colors used to make up the kokade. NOTE: we have no further information or background on this piece.

TEXAS STATE AUCTION SERVICES RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR ON-LINE AUCTION
1. GENERAL: Items are offered for sale by Texas State Auction Services, identified herein as "TSAS". However, a third-party web site provider, an online auction services contractor, is utilized. Those submitting bids are identified herein as "bidder(s)" or "buyer(s)". Please read auction details in full as this is a binding legal contract.
2. ELIGIBILITY:
A: A buyer must be a minimum of 18 years old and legally able to form
binding contracts as a buyer in an auction.
B: A bidder must have an active email address to receive bills and receipts.
C: A bidder must have an active credit card on file to pay for winning bids.
3. VIEWING: Typically, the first Wednesday after the start of an auction unless otherwise specified. Buyers may view auction items at TSAS place of business located at Watson & Taylor Office/Warehouse, (Suite 401), 15502 Old Galveston Rd., HWY 3, Webster, Texas 77598 unless otherwise stated on the auction website. Due to liability reasons, no children, and only two (2) adult customers at a time, are allowed in the warehouse. Auction preview is limited to items available for sale during the next 30 days.
4. INSPECTION: It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to determine the condition of the property that is up for auction. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding, and to place bids based solely on their personal inspection and evaluation. Prospective bidders will not be allowed to test, operate or disassemble any item featured in an auction.
5. WARRANTY: All items are sold, as is, where is and with all faults, if any. TSAS disclaims all warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, as to the condition, quality, completeness or fitness for any particular or general purpose or compliance to safety regulations of the equipment being sold. Descriptions of items appearing in this online auction are believed to be correct. However, neither those descriptions, nor any oral statements made concerning any item, shall be considered as a warranty, expressed or implied.
TSAS OFFERS NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES. DETERMINATION OF CONDTION, FUNCTION, AND PERCEIVED OR ASSUMED VALUE IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
6. OWNERSHIP: At the end of the auction, the highest bidder has entered into a binding contract with the TSAS. The buyer is obligated to pay the price bid, plus 18% buyer's premium and sales tax. Placing the winning bid, but not paying for the product, is illegal in most states, and may result in prosecution. The winning bid cannot be retracted, all sales are final.
Awarded items must be removed from TSAS on the pick-up day specified for this auction and in the specified period, unless other arrangements have been made. (If you live more than 50 miles from Webster, TX we will automatically prepare the item/items for shipping). However, no property may be claimed or removed from TSAS warehouse without your printed invoice and proper ID. If unclaimed by winning bidder/bidders, TSAS reserves the right to re-auction or award the item to the next highest bidder.
Bidders that fail to claim, pay for, and remove auction items from TSAS premises by 7:00 pm on designated pick-up day, shall forfeit their rights to the auction item, and be declared as a default bidder/bidders. TSAS may ban a default bidder from participating in future online auction events. If one item goes into default, all items won by the bidder go into default and are subject to resale. (More than 50 miles from Webster, TX will be shipped unless you notify us with different instructions within 24 hours of the auction end. Your card on file will be charged twice, once for the item, BP & tax. The second charge placed on your card will be for shipping & packing supplies.
