W.W. Greener Damascus Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun
Single brass bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers, choke gauges at cylinder/improved cylinder with an extractor. The rib is marked "W.W. GREENER , ST MARY'S WORKS BIRMINGHAM" and each lock is marked "W.W. GREENER". Brown barrels, blue trigger guard and break lever with casehardened frame, locks and hammers. The frame, locks, trigger guard and hammers feature light floral scroll engraving. The break lever is mounted on the underside of he frame and extends up under the hammer on the right side. Mounted with custom checkered, wedge secured splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a red rubber recoil pad and silver initial oval. With data card from a previous owner.

Condition: Period refinished, the barrels, trigger guard, and break lever with much of the brown finish and some of the Damascus pattern remaining on the barrels. The trigger guard and break lever retain almost all of the blue finish. The right hammer is a replacement. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth silver gray patina. The wood is excellent with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
