Available in this lot for your consideration is a vintage Dyna-Beam Klieglight, manufactured by the Kliegl Bros, Out of New York, New York, around the 1920's. The "Klieglight" is a powerful carbon arc light, used as a stage light, and features; a height adjustable rolling stand, tilt adjustment, sharp focus lever, flood lens adjustment, curtain shutter, iris shutter, and a motor driven blower. The controls were all set near the rear of the stage light for quick, and easy operation, and troubleshooting. The light is marked in numerous spots, reading; "Dyna-Beam - Kleiglight" on both sides of the light, there is a large "K" cut out of the rear cover, along with a serial plate reading "Kliegl Bros - Universal Electric Stage Lighting Co., INC. - New York. N.Y. - NO. 1178 - Volts 120 - AMP. 30AC - Patents Pending - No. 22". The shutter levers located on the back also show stamped instructions, simply reading "Open - Close", and the front of the light reads Kliegl Bros. N.Y. - NO - 1178". Overall, the light is in good aesthetic condition - It is currently missing a castor, and the electrical plug has been cut - leaving the light untested. The light measures approximately 43" long, 23" wide, and 72" tall - with the stand adjusted to its highest setting.
