Item/Description: 1983 labor protest poster targeting corporate executive Frank Lorenzo during a period of intense airline industry strikes. Illustrated by American labor cartoonist Mike Konopacki, depicts Lorenzo as a vampire-like creature preying on the Statue of Liberty to symbolize corporate greed dismantling American labor values. Signed in plate Konopacki. ESP union bug lower right. Manufactured by Express Printing, a commercial print shop certified by the Allied Printing Trades Council.
Created during the 1983 Continental Airlines strike and subsequent Eastern Airlines disputes. Lorenzo used bankruptcy laws to void union contracts, slash wages, and shift assets, making him a major villain in U.S. labor history.
