Victorian rapier and left hand dagger of excellent quality, styled after Germanic weapons of the early to mid 17th century. The pair are finely detailed and correctly made with very close and almost imperceptible from the originals. The grips are correctly wire wrapped, the proportion, weights and balance are also near perfect. They are true antiques being 100-150+ years old and show a nice patina and aging and the blade on therapier may well have been from the period. Many craftsmen were employed by several large firms in the 19th century to recreate arms, armor and decorations for restoration of the arms collections to be displayed in castlesand the great halls of Europe. This pair are as good a quality as we have seen in Victorian recreations and they would fool most collectors. Est.: $1,250-$2,500

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
