This lot features a framed Victoria era original artwork. The piece is signed by the artist who is believed to be, Stanislaw Bulak-Balachowicz. The scene depicted what appears to be a women pleading with a king, believe to be king Louis of France, as men unexpectedly form the Spanish inquisition hold her captive. The painting is in a stunning Victoria era frame. The condition of the painting is good, however some of the paint has adhered to the glass. The easel is not included in this lot.
