Victor Sarasqueta side by side exhibition grade shotgun showing Holland & Holland royal imperial style, full sidelocks, chopper-lump style barrels, 12ga self opening, two sets of barrels, English style straight stock,checkered butt, double-triggers, automatic ejectors. The gun and both its barrels are chiseled in high relief showing bull fight scenes, surrounded by damascene gold accents and matching chiseling on each breech. Serial #93931. The top of the lever shows the date “28-8-47” and the word “Linares”, which is the city where Manolete, the man considered by many to be the world’s greatest bullfighter was killed during an epicbullfight. This gun and its mate, Lot 689, May 25th & 26th 2011, were created as a tribute to this famous Spaniard by Sarasqueta. This gun shows two sets of barrels. The first set measures 29-1/4”,12ga, choked Modified and Improved Modified. Barrel #2 measures 29” and is choked Modified and Improved Modified.
