1) Identification tag stripped from a downed Junkers Ju-88 A-4 Fighter-Bomber, taken near Mannheim. 2) Identification tag for a Heinkel He111 H2 Bomber. 3) Nazi armband, red cloth with stitched on white circle and black thread swastika. 4) Black, white and red armband, with "Baterlandischer/ Hilfsdienst" in black ink on one side. 5) Two Allied Occupation German Mark notes, 3" wide x 2 5/8" tall, a 1 mark note and a 5 mark note. 6) Nazi eagle badge, alloy with brass pins and "L/ 38" on the rear. 7) Nazi eagle patch, green felt backing with silver thread eagle. 8) German Police "Old Fighter" patch, green cloth backing with gray and black chevron. 9) Nazi eagle patch, brown backing with a gray thread eagle over a black, white and red cockade. According to the included letter from Colonel (ret.) A. Lewis Greene, Items 1, 3 and 5 were taken by himself as war trophies leading up to and during the Battle of the Bulge. An interesting group of pieces rarely seen documented.
