Very impressive Colt double rig consisting of two cowboy style engraved Colt Single Actions with factory deep-set medallion pearl grips, nickel and gold trimmed, inscribed “JDH” (for Jack D. Holt) and “Bar Nuthin’Ranch”; with extremely ornate 1920’s-1930’s style carved and painted rodeo cowboy double holster rig, tooled and scrolled in floral motifs with large cut-out logo “Bar Nuthin’ Ranch”, with silver and gold sterling and 10k gold buckle and keeper with matching silver and gold tab. Gun #1: #112286, U.S> marked frame, .45 cal., shortened to approx. 5-1/2” barrel with line scroll engraving, block letterinscription on backstrap; grips show some cracking and chips and have been fitted to this gun when work was done. Refinished. Gun #2: #289654, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, engraved en suite to Gun #1, inscribed in the same fashion with similar deep-set medallion grips fitted to the gun when work was accomplished.
