Very good quality 18th century small sword with chiseled and gold gilt hilt and mounts, triangular blade with blue and gilt, silver handle with silver wire grip. The sword measures 39-1/2", the blade measures 32-1/2"; the blade shows 20-30% of its original blue and gilt and is in very good condition. The hilt is nicely chiseled in scrolls and florals, with small vignettes of shields and arms, 60-80% gold remains in the steelchiseling. The grip is very good, the condition is generally very good+ overall; a fine quality sword that belonged to a gentleman of means and wealth. Est.: $1,250-$2,500

Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
