Produced in 1987-88, this Predator Hunter is a hand built, bolt action, single shot "hunting handgun", built on the Model 84 rifle action as a single shot pistol with Model 70 style safety. These pistols were manufactured in low quantities (.21 Fireball, .223 Remington, 6X45MM, 6MM TCU, 7MM TCU) in 1987, the first year of production, and 3 calibers (.221 Fireball, .223 Remington, 7MM TCU) in 1988, the last year of production. The barrel is manufactured without sights and the top is marked "KIMBER OF OREGON INC, CLACKAMAS, OREGON, U.S.A." and the caliber designation is on the left rear. The pistol is mounted with a one piece, hand formed three finger, right hand thumb rest, select grain walnut stock.
