Manufactured from 1868 to 1881, this revolver features 60% floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the sides of the barrel and barrel lug, cylinder flats, frame sides and the top of the back strap. The top of the rib has a wedge of scrollwork at the breech along with the standard one line address/patent dates marking. The serial number is marked on the butt and on the back of both grips. The assembly number "P4" is marked on the rear of the barrel lug, on the front face of the cylinder, and on the right side of the frame under the grip. The part of the frame under the cylinder is marked with a large script "L". Blade front and notch rear sights, checkered trigger and hammer, silver plated, and fitted with two piece bird head ivory grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original silver plating with some minor flaking and some minor blistering (more extensive on the grip straps). The cylinder retains 60% original gold. The grips have slightly shrunken, otherwise excellent with some minor scratches. The ivory has an attractive aged yellow color with attractive grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.
