This is a heavy duty Case XX knife with brass fittings. Sheath is heavy duty leather, trimmed in brass, and with a large brass tip. Large brass tip on sheath has been removed for cleaning, but can easily be put back in place. Sheath is original, and has the "CASE XX" trademark on its front. Blade is engraved with the famous "CASE XX USA" trademark, and a number that looks like "1838" when viewed with a microscope, Blade also has very detailed engraved picture of Jim Bowie in his buckskin fringed coat, holding a Bowie knife.
