Unusual pair of large percussion pistols marked “B & Cie” in a small stamped circular cartouche just below the nipple on right side. The pistols measure 14” overall with 8 ¼” barrels of .50 caliber rifled. The frames and mounts are lightlyengraved and the hammers are nicely chiseled in dolphin heads. The stocks show a German silver wire inlay and German silver plaques. The stocks have seen some minor restorations and well done light cleaning. About 75% of the wire inlay isremaining. The original ramrods are retained by a spring mechanism with a socket in the trigger guard. Est.: $1250-$2500
