Unusual Breech Loading Single Shot Pistol Marked PATENT

Estimate: $1000 - 2000
An experimental pistol, this unique handgun is marked "PATENT" on top of the barrel and is the only marking. The action has a breechblock that operates like a lever. For loading/unloading the breechblock is pushed downward until it locks. Locking the breechblock causes the ejector to release. To fire the pistol the ejector must first be manually placed back in the chamber. This is done by pushing the lever located in front of the frame towards the muzzle. The trigger is then pulled, slamming the breechblock upward for the centerfire firing pin to strike the cartridge. It has a blade front sight, notch rear sight and a Damascus barrel. Fitted with a unique finger groove stock.
