Unmarked early American tip-up pistol, mid to late 1860’s similar to Stevens. .22 rimfire. 3-1/4” barrel, 6-1/4” overall, brass frame, underhammer release for hinged barrel, and knurled finger ridge which is cut through for sighting. Serial #73 on interior. Good condition showing brass patina finish, dark patina on the frame, good rosewood grips that are serial numbered to match. Action good, bore slightly rough. No markings other than serial number. An interesting American single shot that could quality as a vest-pocket derringer. Est: $300 - $600
