This copy of a Derringer Pocket Pistol has no maker markings but was likely manufactured somewhere in the American south (possibly Tennessee). Features a damascus barrel, fixed sights and light engraved hammer. Checkered bird head grip with German silver trigger guard, wedge escutcheons, and stock inlays.
BBL: 2 3/8 inch flat top
Stock: walnut
Gauge: 44 percussion
Finish: blue
Grips:
Serial Number: nsn
Condition: Good. The barrel retains traces of the damascus with a smooth gray patina and some minor pitting. The lock plate has been cleaned. The German silver is fine. The stock is fine with a couple hairline cracks, small chip missing near the lock plate, and some minor handling marks. Overall the checkering remains crisp. Mechanically functions, but a little stiff.
