The lock has a downward curve with a beveled edge and isn't recessed into the stock. There are no visible markings. Dove tailed blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight with a 6 1/2" base and sliding ladder adjustor. Mounted with a smooth straight grip stock with an ill-fitting brass buttplate.
