Unmarked American under hammer percussion cane gun circa 1830-50’s similar to Allen or Bacon in design and numbered “61”. The gun measures 31-1/4” overall with 27-1/2” barrel of approx 54 cal smooth bore. The grip areashows pistol type grips and there is a screw off muzzle cap. The metal is in good condition showing a gray patina with some light erosion and pinprick pitting. The grips are very good and generally goodoverall. From an old N.Y. collectors estate. Est.;$750-$1,500.
