United States Marines etched blade dress sword by Hilborn & Hamburger, Inc., New York with scabbard. The blade is in overall fine condition showing the majority of the original etching and polish on both sides,the brass guard and pommel have a deep patina and the leather and wire wrapped grip show wear but are overall good; the leather scabbard is very good and the brass throat and drag have matching dark patinas thatcompliment the sword’s guard.
