Very good as assembled. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish showing a small amount of scattered minor pitting and areas of thinning. The trigger guard and lower tang are a mix of original fading case colors and smooth gray patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth mottled brown and gray patina. The stock is excellent with some scattered minor dents, dings and light scratches. The sling is very good with some light wear and stains. The bayonet is excellent with 80% somewhat thinning original blue finish remaining with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance and showing some minor spotting. The frog is separated from the scabbard, however both are fine.
