ASSEMBLED BY MILTECH AS A MODEL 1903 A1 SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 1522245. Bbl. 24" marked behind front sight "SA" flaming bomb "5-42". Muzzle has notable flat crown. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2850 yards. Flat windage & elevation knobs. Blade front sight. Receiver & bbl. fitted w/ scope blocks approx. 7 1/4" on center. Handguard has been milled to clear front scope block. Receiver has "Hatcher" hole. 1903 A3 bolt. Bolt handle markings have been obscured. All milled furniture including smooth trap buttplate which only partially opens. Grooved trigger. Matching walnut stock set. Buttstock is 1903 A3 style w/ pistol grip, 2 recoil bolts inletted at receiver ring for 1903 A3 handguard retaining ring. Tan leather military type sling w/ brass hooks. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Unertl external adjustment 8 power 3/4" steel tube telescopic sight; S# "14545"; marked on top w/ Unertl logo. Screw in scope caps; aluminum scope mts., reticle and return spring are not present. 9 5/8" fullered blade M1 bayonet marked on left ricasso "AFH" flaming bomb "US". Grooved composite grips. Green plastic scabbard w/ metal throat marked w/ "US" w/ flaming bomb. Bayonet has been restored & retains most of its arsenal rework finish. Tan leather Model 1907 type sling. Reprinted copy of TM 9-1270 Maintenance Manual for U.S. Rifles of the Model 1903 Type. 5 steel stripper clips. 2 spare trigger guard screws & hand written data card for scope settings. Attractive military style wooden chest w/ foam pads. Chest is marked w/ Miltech logo & markings on chest include matching rifle S#. CONDITION: rifle in very good to near excellent condition. Professionally restocked & restored w/ only light high point wear. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. Chest & accessories are in good serviceable condition except as noted. (23-4933/RW).
