CONVERSION REVOLVER WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 38 Spl. S# X66536. Bbl. 7 1/2". Model 1851 Richards-Mason Navy conversion SA revolver mfg. by Uberti in Italy and imported by Stoeger of Accokeek, MD. The top of the bbl. is marked with Stoeger's importer and Uberti's mfg. information, with the cal. designation, "1871", and Italian proofs on the underside. Left side of frame is marked with "patent" information. Cyl. is engraved with a naval scene. Case color hardened frame, loading gate, and hammer, with blued cyl., bbl., ejector rod housing, backstrap, and trigger guard. Frame is mounted with a 1 piece smooth faux ivory grip. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grip is excellent. Box shows some exterior wear from storage and handling, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
