U.S. model 1905 bayonet for 1903 Springfield rifle with scabbard, serial #417461. The blade shows its original polish and blue on ricasso and mounts. The blade shows some slight staining, just beginning normal aging, at least very good plus, the wood stocks are also very good plus with just some slight staining. The scabbard is very good plus, dated 1909, Rock Island Arsenal marked and HEK inspected. The leather belt attachment is also 1909 dated. The scabbard mounts show traces of original blue.
