U.S. model 1903 Springfield, .30 caliber bolt-action military issue rifle, serial #572161 with Springfield Armory marked 1913-dated barrel, in very good plus to near fine original condition with bayonet,scabbard, and original sling. The metal surfaces show 90-95% of their original arsenal blue finish, thinning on the triggerguard to approx. 50%, slightly thinning on the bands, but sharp and crispoverall with exceptional JFC cartouche stock showing just some minor scratches and storage marks. The safety and bolt release show quenched case hardening. The Springfield bayonet is in near fine condition with 1913date and crisp scabbard.
