U.S. model 1903 Springfield .30-06 caliber National Match rifle in fine to excellent condition, serial #1378377. With Springfield research letter indicating sale through DCM to Clifford M. Nash, of Berkley, CA,September 27, 1933. Included with the rifle is a set of P.J. O’Hare sight covers, front and rear. The rifle shows DAL cartouche above the trigger on the left side of the stock and “P” proof on inside of the pistol grip.The metal surfaces retain 98-99% plus original finish, the stock is fine to near excellent with one or two bumps and scrapes from storage, but generally excellent overall. The rifle shows original Lymanreceiver sight and correct rear and front sights along with serial numbered bolt. The action is good, the bore is excellent. Would be difficult to improve on this National Match as we have not seen a better example in the past decade. Est: $3,500 - $7,000
