U.S. model 1842 Musket, .69 caliber, by Springfield, dated 1846. With bayonet, scabbard, ramrod, and sling. The metal surfaces show some light to moderate erosion and pitting. The markings on lock are verygood, the stock is also good with some normal wear, dings, mars, small losses and minor imperfections. The stock shows a feint outline of a cartouche, bayonet is very good with original brass-tipped scabbard in verygood condition with correct type leather sling. A good model 42 with hard to find bayonet and scabbard. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
