U.S. flintlock musket by Harper’s Ferry with lockplate dated 1812, .69 cal., 45-1/4” barrel, full length wood stock, sling swivels, iron furniture, left side of barrel at breech stamped “CP 1271 No 11747 with two oval indistinguishable proofs. This gun is in overall good to very good uncleaned condition showing a dark patina on metal surfaces with even moderate pitting on the barrel, good markings on the lockplate, good action, dark bore, very good wood stock with “CP 1271” marking on left side of stock above the trigger; some scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage.
