U.S. flintlock Common rifle by Deringer, .58 cal., 36” barrel, wood stock, iron patchbox, sling swivels, flared ramrod, in overall very good condition with 1842 dated lockplate and 1841 dated barrel; good action and markings, very good woodwith two inspectors’ cartouches on left side of stock, some wear and minor losses to wood; some scattered erosion and pitting to metal around firing areas.
