The receiver of this example was manufactured late in 1943 and the barrel is dated "12-43". There is a fixed front sight and a stamped fully adjustable rear sight. The blue bolt has an "R" marked on the various parts. Mounted on a smooth walnut straight grip stock with "RA", ordnance wheel and boxed "FJA" cartouche stamped on the left wrist, an "OG" cartouche on the left side of the buttstock, a circled "P" proof on the underside of the wrist and various stamps in front of the floor plate. With an unmarked tan leather claw sling, a green fiberglass scabbard and a bayonet marked "U. C./U.flaming bomb S./1942" on the left side and an ordnance wheel on the right side.

Condition: Excellent with 98% original parkerized finish with some cycling and high edge wear. 97% of the correct original blue remains on the small parts. The stock is very fine with some long scratches from barrel band removal, some dings and some scratches. The sling is very good with some stains and wrinkling. The bayonet has been sharpened but remains good. The scabbard is excellent.
