U.S. Springfield trapdoor rifle modified to saddle ring carbine, .45-70 cal., 22” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, replaced wood stock, #394499. This composite gun is in overall very good condition as modifiedshowing a brown patina on shortened barrel, strong traces of case colors on trapdoor, clear markings on lock plate with some scattered pitting, very good bore, crisp action, very good to fine wood stock showingno visible inspector cartouches.
