U.S. Springfield trapdoor SRC, .45-70 cal., 22” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #210440 followed by a star. This gun is in overall fair to good condition showing a brown patina on metal surfaces and surface rust fromstorage that should be carefully cleaned and oiled; butt plate shows a dark patina with pitting; action is good, bore is fair, markings on lock plate are partially visible, wood stock is overall good with circle “P”behind the trigger guard and partially visible “SWP” inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the stock above the trigger guard. A decent representative trapdoor carbine that would benefit from a carefulcleaning and some TLC. Est.: $400-$800.
