U.S. Springfield Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, blue finish, full length wood stock, #317394 in overall very good condition showing considerable original blue mixed with a brown patina on metal surfaces, very good bore,crisp action, sharp markings and very good wood stock showing some storage mars and scratches with circle P proof and “SWP/1889” inspector’s cartouche on left side of stock above trigger assembly; steel ramrod retained.
