U.S. Springfield Trapdoor conversion rifle, .50 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, trapdoor marked “Model 1870”, lockplate dated 1863, wood stock with “D 37” stamped twice, once behind top tang and once in front of top of butt plate. This gun is in overall good condition as converted with a good bore, action, markings and wood; from an old estate and shows long storage; would benefit from a careful cleaning and oiling. (Antique).
