U.S. Springfield Trapdoor carbine, .45-70 cal., 22” barrel, re-blued finish, wood stock, #154402 in overall good condition as re-finished showing silvery toning to the receiver and some muted case colors showing thru on the hammer; fair bore,crisp action and good markings including an earlier lockplate with the date 1863; wood stock is overall good with circle P proof and “SWP/1881” inspector’s cartouche; no saddle ring bar or ring.
