The lock plate is dated "1812" and is marked "US/[eagle]/SPRINGFIELD". The left rear of the barrel is stamped "US" and has "P/eagle head/V" proofs. The letter "B" is stamped near the trigger and the hammer is marked "A.N." Full length military stock with three barrel bands and "1812" marked buttplate. It has a button head ramrod.

Condition: Very good. The musket has a smooth dark brown patina with some minor flash pitting. Missing the percussion nipple. The stock is also very good with a number of minor handling marks and "CT" marked on buttstock. Mechanically fine.
