U.S. Springfield Model 1903 National Match Heavy barrel bolt action rifle, .30-06 cal., 24” barrel that measures 7/8” at the muzzle, blue finish, Lyman hooded front sight and Lyman adjustable receiver peep sight, scope mounts on barrel, military leather sling, wood stock with Noshoc red hard rubber butt pad, #1248891. This rare gun is in overall very good to near fine condition showing the majority of its blue finish, very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good wood stock with some scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage, circle P proof and D.A.L. inspector cartouche on left side of stock above trigger; the only marking on the barrel visible is a small “79” stamped behind the forward scope mount.
