U.S. Springfield Model 1898/transition to Model 1899 Krag bolt-action carbine, .30-40 Krag cal., 22” round barrel, blue military finish, wood stock, tan woven military sling, all features as standard on military issue,#476827. This gun shows 1899 features including no saddle ring or bar; slight hump in front of sight on fore end; stock cartouched “1899”; refer Flayderman 94-414. The carbine remains in very good + to nearfine original condition with 75%-85% + original finish; quenched colors on action; very good + to near fine wood with sharp and well-defined cartouches; military type web sling included, sharp markings, very goodbore that is still bright. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
