U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag rifle, .30-40 Krag cal., 30” barrel military blue finish, Rock Island Arsenal marked leather sling dated 1903; wood stock, bayonet and metal scabbard, brass muzzle cover, threepiece cleaning rod and oiler in butt trap, #404197. This gun is in near mint condition showing the majority of its original military finish, excellent bore, crisp action, sharp markings and excellent stock with sharpcircle P cartouche and sharp 1902 inspector’s stamp on left side of stock above the trigger; small “60” is also stamped behind the trigger guard before the circle P proof; bayonet and scabbard are also in excellentcondition with blade also dated 1902. This is one of the nicest Krag rifles we have seen in some time and comes with all the appropriate accessories as indicated. Est.: $1,800-$2,800.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
