U.S. Springfield Model 1884 trapdoor rifle, .45 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, dark brown patina, full wood stock, iron ramrod, sling swivels, #317491. This gun is in overall good condition showing an even dark brown patina on metal surfaces, worn but fai bore, good action and markings including proofs on barrel at muzzle, wood is overall fair to good with circle “P” proof and two inspector’s cartouches on the left side of the stock above the trigger assembly; scattered nicks, mars and scratches from years of carry and storage. Est.: $600-$1,200.
