U.S. Springfield Model 1884 trapdoor rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, wood stock, ramrod bayonet, #280185. This gun is in overall good condition as re-finished with an overall good bore, crisp action, goodmarkings, some scattered areas of erosion on the barrel and fair to good wood stock showing a large repaired area on the right side of the wrist behind the lockplate, also scattered mars and scratches from carry andstorage; partially visible inspector’s cartouche on left side above trigger assembly.
