U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stock, #389030 in overall very good condition showing considerable original blue finish on the barrel with traces of original case colors on the trapdoor, crisp action, sharp markings, fair bore that may clean, overall good wood with scattered mars, dings and scratches from carry and storage, good circle P proof and good inspector’s cartouche dated 1887.
