U.S. Springfield Model 1880 trapdoor rifle with triangular bayonet ramrod, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, wood stock, #156946. This scarce variation is in overall good condition with a crisp action, good markings, bore may clean to good/very good; wood shows an old re-finish with scattered mars and some oil discolorations, faint outline of cartouche on left side of stock above trigger, “12” stamped into top of butt stock, possibly arack number; approx. 1,000 produced.
