U.S. Springfield Model 1871 rolling block military rifle, .50 cal., 36” barrel, iron cleaning rod, sling swivels, full wood stock, no visible serial number but the number “518” stamped on left side of the receiver.This gun is in well-used condition with the barrel showing an older cleaning to surface, traces of silvery toned case hardening on the receiver, good bore, crisp action and fair + markings; the stock shows many scatterednicks, mars, scratches and some cracks and small losses; given its overall appearance and the stamped number on the receiver, this gun is reminiscent of a Stembridge Armory movie prop. gun, particularly with its “S”stamp on the top comb of the butt stock. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
