U.S. Springfield Model 1871 Ward-Burton bolt-action rifle, .50 cal., 33” barrel, “in-the-white” finish, full wood stock, iron cleaning rod, sling swivels, #NVSN. This gun is in overall very good condition showing alight grey patina with scattered spots of erosion and some light surface rust areas that should clean easily, very good bore, markings and action; wood stock is overall good to very good with an old well-donerepair to both sides of the stock beneath the action and up to the first barrel band; likely arsenal accomplished; a very hard-to-find martial example as a mere 1,000 rifles were manufactured at the SpringfieldArmory circa 1871. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
