This rifle is documented by serial number as a National Match type C in the summary of D.C.M. Rifle sales.The barrel is marked with a star on the muzzle and "S A/flaming bomb/12-29" just behind the front sight. Fixed front and ladder rear sight without the 2,850 yard notch. There is a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight on the right rear of the receiver. The polished bolt is electropenciled to match the gun. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip type "C" stock with "circled P" proof on the front of the wrist, two reinforcing bolts, a boxed "D.A.L." cartouche on the left wrist and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor (empty). Rear sight cover marked "P.J. O'HARE/SOUTH ORANGE, N.J./MADE IN U.S.A.".
