Standard barrel markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. Flaming Ordnance bomb and "eagle/S1" proof on left side of frame and rear of cylinder has an "eagle/S24" proof. British proofs on the cylinder chambers, barrel and frame, with "NOT ENGLISH MADE" on right side of frame. Butt is marked "U.S./ ARMY / MODEL / 1917 / No / 137 / 630". "137630" also on cylinder and barrel, with assembly number "7095" on crane and frame. The butt and barrel markings are highlighted in red. Fitted with smooth walnut grips and lanyard loop on the butt. Complete with a TexTan 1942 dated U.S. holster.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with some minor handling marks and a strong cylinder drag line. The grips are very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches with a notch on the right panel near the bottom. The holster is fine with some minor handling marks and a few minor scuffs.
